The REAL Olympic medal table

A few days ago, Iain Dale alerted us to this filth from "Medaltracker.eu" (click to enlarge):

Inspired by More Than Mind Games, I have a rather better idea:

I love it, you old Scotch bastard!

At last a statistic we can all believe in!

Well done thatman.

When did the UK occupy SK and Japan? I know we sent troops to the Korean War, but that was providing military support to SK rather than an occupying army...

(nice table though)

I do get a strange thrill out of the fact that we seem to have fought everybody...shows spirit..or something.

You're quibbling, John B, but I take your point. Still, the US occupied Japan, so...

Absolutely brilliant, love it!

i fully support the eu as a superpower, and the greatness of the eu nations is shown in the first table, especially britain, who is top out of all eunations, in the olympics, and in general overall existance.
also, the second table, obviously we would be 1st, as we owned overone quater of the world! get in! just that fact is ebought to make us proud. we have the greatesnation ever. dont letr a yank tell you otherwise, jsut show thema historty enctclopedia, and they will be humbled.

A very cheering table, in a kind of nostalgic way. I wonder what Commonwealth or USSR ones would look like.

Why do EU Medal Tracker place Turkey in Europe? I also note that there is a country called Palestine in Asia - who knew?

Are you saying we didn't formerly occupy the British Empire? That'll be news to a lot of former subjects.

Hello britisch vampire,

thank you for letting Germany survive as independent nation! But why do you count the USA?

Heinrich

Sorry, I see it's Donal Blaney to whoom I should be addressing my question - but I can't be arsed to type it again.

I amused myself in 2004 by adding up the old USSR and EU scores.
Maybe one day the EU will put in a "Unified Team", to coin a phrase. The blue and yellow flag will be flown and all.
But, as it is raised and Beethoven is played, will the athletes have a tear in the eye and a quiver in the lip? Somehow, I doubt it.

Just take out the US for gods sake.

Cool. Can you redo it for the last Commonwealth Games?

Why don't we have a table based on whether the athletes are black, white, oriental, south american etc... that would highlight just how awful the medaltracker site really is. Pathetic fucks that they are.

I see Asia is a continent and New Zealand is on the Australian continent. Something amiss at medaltracker.eu!

The "British Empire"!!!

God, the Brits sure love living in the past. FYI, the EU is a 21-century institution, so their medal table makes sense. You, on the other hand, refer to a 19th century concept which has no relevance today.
The earlier the EU kicks out the Brits from the EU, the better. Then you're free to become the US's fifty-whatever state (or whould it be filthiest), role you've performed very well the last 50 years.
But don't forget to get rid of your navy first - not sure the Yanks would find any use for a bunch of old boys playing at being Nelson while their foot and rank get captured by the glorious iranian navy....

Cheers, 'anonymous'. It's nice to have a correspondent here from the thriving metropolis that is Pigshit, Texas. No go ahead and fuck your sister. She's absolutely gagging for it, inbreeding is a part of your national tradition, and it will make a change from cornholing the neighbour's dog.

Why do people take these things so seriously..... politically correct fuckwits

forgot to add, good table btw :)

Heh! The Russians do the same thing each Olympics with the USSR.

Sackcloth, you're thinking of Tennessee or New Jersey.

Any US medalists from the southwest should probably be included under Spain, not UK.

Also, midwesterners should be added to France.

Good Job! :)
