Misdirection

Time constraints forbid me from blogging on the government's "watering down" of ID cards, at least today. I'll certainly have spleen to vent on this, but in the meantime, I direct you to ChickYog and DK for some preliminary abuse, and remind you of this.

Don't be fooled by these people.

Conjurers wave around brightly-coloured cloths, shuffle and reshuffle the deck, and point to shit with wands, and it's all to distract you from where the real centre of the action is. They call it "misdirection". If you want to know what's really happening, though, you watch the hands.

So never mind the cards; it's all about the database. It's always been all about the database. Don't watch the cards. Watch the hands.

Bastid bastid government.

Worry not, Davies will destroy it all in a day!

I'm sure the next election is Gordon's get out clause, he can oppose the Tory's database destruction as much as he likes from the other side of the house!

Never mind the frickin hands. Keep your eyes peeled for the black helicopters.
