The Banned! wagon gathers pace

It's a veritable blogswarm in the race to get Alistair Darling banned from every pub in the nation. The Reactionary Snob has a rundown on the latest additions to the fun. And there's a Facebook group, and an MSP involved... yeah, it's all good.

We've yet to, y'know, actually get him barred from a pub, but the long march of a thousand miles begins with one small step. Download the poster now and press it into the hands of your local publican. As someone once said in almost the exact opposite context: let's do some good...

Why just Alistair Darling? If every pub barring Darling had posters barring local Labour politucians as well it would certainly put the pressure on Darling from them as they get criticised locally for supporting this.

Believe me. There's one thing that will make politicians put pressure on their bosses. It's local criticism of themselves and the threat of losing their seats.
